Festimanga in Morlanwelz

On October 3–4, I was invited to Festimanga in Morlanwelz, Belgium, to introduce three traditional Japanese instruments: the shinobue, koto, and shamisen.

Visitors had the opportunity to discover these instruments and try playing them for themselves.

On Saturday, I gave a musical demonstration on stage, and on Sunday, I performed with Mitsunobamboo, our trio of Japanese flutes.

I also had the pleasure of joining a livestream with Open World. It was a good opportunity to talk about the instruments and my vision about Japanese music in Belgium.

It was a lovely weekend, full of encounters, exchanges, and discoveries through Japanese music!

J’ai aussi eu le plaisir de participer à un live streaming avec Open World.
